Our stud is a progressive breeding and training operation specialising in Thoroughbred and sport horse breeding. With a strong emphasis on quality and performance, we combine practical experience with a hands-on, attentive approach to ensure every horse receives individual care and consistent management.

Breeding Services

 

We are proud to stand a select roster of proven stallions, carefully chosen for their pedigree, performance, and suitability for modern breeding programmes. Our stallions include the Thoroughbred stallions Idaho (IRE) and Arrigo (GER), alongside the Class 1 Gold Merit Irish Draught stallion Inisfree The Iron Cross.

Together, they offer breeders access to established and reliable bloodlines suited to National Hunt racing, sport horse production, and performance-focused breeding, with an emphasis on stamina, soundness, and temperament.

Our stud operates a live cover system, welcoming both walk-in mares and visiting mares for boarding. All coverings are managed professionally and efficiently, with mare care and welfare as our highest priority. We aim to provide a breeder-friendly, transparent service throughout the covering season, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail at every stage.

Mare Care & Boarding

 

We offer boarding facilities for visiting mares, managed to a high standard of care and welfare. Mares are monitored closely throughout their stay, with individual attention given to health, nutrition, and handling. Our calm, organised environment supports both mares and foals, ensuring they are managed safely and thoughtfully.

 

Training & Development

 

In addition to breeding, we provide a range of training and development services, including:

• Pre-training

• Rehabilitation

• Point-to-point training

 

Our facilities and management allow young, returning, or recovering horses to develop correctly, with a strong focus on long-term soundness, mental confidence, and physical progression. Each horse is managed as an individual, with programmes tailored to suit their stage of development and future career.
